“Goin’ For The Green” Spring Hike

​Get Outdoors Pennsylvania and welcome spring with this hike at Greenwood Furnace State Park on Saturday morning, March 18, 2017, at 9:00 am. Park Manager Mike Dinsmore will lead the moderately difficult hike, along a section of the trail to the Greenwood Fire Tower, and return, it will be about 6 miles in length. Light refreshments will be served after the hike. Hikers are to park and meet at Pavilion 1 (behind the lake).

To fully enjoy the hike, be sure to dress for the weather, with multiple layers of clothing, and good, waterproof, insulated boots. A hat and gloves are recommended as well. Properly dressed, you will stay warm and comfy.
